Well I go a long way to the blame
say what you will
sing what you can
I’ll be there to take your hand
lead you to the promised land.
Well I’d only be here on earth
28 years and my life up to then
had taken a turn for the worst.
Now I can’t get my feet up off the ground
throw it all down in my face.
But when all is over
the ending will come
and I will be back where I started
right where I begun.
