alley

Peasant
i was wasted on a, on a street corner.
had my warm red hat on
and a bag of jack
that i bought down at the, at the grocery store.
hold me tightly, just so tightly
'round and 'round this crazy town.
promise now i won't bring you down.
walk right by my little, my little alleyway.
what could a man do?
so many have loved you.
i just don't know what to do,
no idea what to do.
take you home tonight.
we'll toss and turn, it's all right,
till the morning comes;
then the rest is history.
