Beauty
Maudlin Of The Well
What abyss can contain me in all of my glory. Madness sustained throughout these years
Loneliness is no longer a creed. Gaze into me and I'll swallow you whole
Though my eyes have bled, no more can I see, or anything
Wile away the haunted hours the winds whisper in poetic verse
And laugh with me unseen kissed by the wickedness I dwell in
What remains for me to strive? You've wed the velvet water
Who knew we would arrive? The river is bare, the stars are right
I'm haunted by the whistling of the horrors sailing by
Who spend the night as the canopy bleeds floating with the city of reeds
