Bein' A Headache
Joe Yoga
Lonely thought sittin in a room, holdin it together
How can just an atom get by, complainin about the weather
All the empty space can get lonely, you better believe it
Cause when the logic said it was a god, well I could see it
and maybe the world would be better off
if everything were fixed
but I don't know what better means
Nor do I know what the world is
and my hands never get to touch the wall
but they don't complain
it's hard enough to be just a thought without bein a headache
Phantom mass staring at the phone trying to acknowledge
it's not even that I don't enjoy it, it's just so involved,
trying to remember that I'm up late watching a movie
Instead of baring down on the subatomic, what'll the elements
make of me now that I'm better off
given it's all the same
I always thought I was bumping into things, now
I guess I've got to change
cause my hands want so bad to touch the wall
but they don't complain
it's hard enough bein just a thought without bein a headache
