I flew high, had to spread my wings into the blue sky
Over everything that I went through had
swear that I was never coming down again.
Ooo, faster, hurry up
and found my ever after,
flying blind and headed for disaster
found myself falling to the ground, again.
So fly, go ahead and fly high,
just don't be the one who flies too
close to the sun.

Passion turned out to be a beautiful distraction
and the consequences of my actions
were everlasting and
now I know not to get right top and chasing rainbows,
cause they only follow where the storm goes.
There's a silver lining, I suppose I learned my lesson.

just don't be the one who flies
too close to the sun.
I tried to touch the sun
I tried to taste the sun,
I tried to look the sun,
my heart got burned and now I know that
it's beautiful the lonely on that mountain,
I found the greatest blessings on the ground
and eventually then any good has to land, somewhere.
