Deep in the Earth
Rocky Votolato
Blood still flows in my veins today
And I'm walking on the ground
That one day my body will be laid
The ones I loved will gather around
To say a few words
About all I've done with my
Time now that I'm deep in the earth
So I'll go this alone
Though we have always been together
Part of me each of you've become
Keep me walking straight
Narrow let my steps be
It's up early and it's up late
If it's what makes you happy
We are a legacy
Of tragedies but my God willing
I will bring an end to this
Though I may see an early grave
I will make my time here my own
So say a few words
About all I've done with my time
Now that I'm deep in the earth
