I first saw you passing by,

The sunlight struck your face so bright,

Once before on the hills of green,

The war of winter came between,

Your eyes shining the firey light,

Passed you by then wandering through the night,

Traveling on now first winters chill,

Forests fallen on Indian hill,

Hold me indigo, Hold me Navajo

I did know you, I was untrue,

Died that summer, Northbound train it flew,

Hold me solitude, Hold me Waterloo

Heard you singing, Voice rang clear,

Through the valley, First pioneers,

Hold me keep me near, Hold me yesteryear

Heart is yearning, Red rocks sweet sage,

Journey on now, Turn the page,
