A mystic echo plunges and ricochets off the wall,
the drops of blood are the only sounds I hear at all
If anyone besides my shadow could break my fall,
it would save these painful cries for help, I call,
but the soundwaves get lost in the air,
I've torn out and dissected each feeling I can bare,
all I see is the same four walls, numb as I stare
Laying on the carpet, soaked with what has kept me alive,
a bitter, crippling taste gears my life to begin its drive,
down the long, narrow road, where the spirits thrive,
placed together in a pool of harmony or hell, my body will dive

pushing the nightmares away
If all fails in the end, fading to grey,
crawling on the ground, collecting my drips of decay
A recharge of faith never works, a dreaded, morbid oath,
it builds up to collapse, a shockwave of failing growth,
this paralyzing effect creates the demons that I loathe,
re-occuring dreams devide their hate as I hide and clothe,
the dim light behind the glass from meeting my face,
as the sun quietly sets, it sprinkles its rays around my place,
darkness begins to swallow the room as if it were a race,
disappearing before my eye, no object leaves a trace
Alone for once more, I play my games again, I pull the shortest straw
again and again I lose to my own flaw,
I see the outline, yet still I destroy the thought to draw,
the scar this bullet will leave, the feeling so painfully raw
