Here I got, I’m short again
I get a little bit of green, but it always seems to go south
Why can’t I control myself
I’m in this deep and I got to get me some help

It’s the end of the month and all my rent is due
And you know that check you cashed sir, I bet it didn’t go through (sorry about that)
Mom and Dad said I should get some kind of career
But all I want to do right now is just sit here and drink beer

Now the world seems to rush by me so fast
I guess I should just stop thinking about it
And get off my ass (well maybe tomorrow)

To realize that I should have been saving all my stuff

It’s been two long weeks now and I haven’t eaten for days
