Gestation of the Sacred Beetle
Mirah and the Spectratone International
My mother made for me this pair of perfect womb
A modeled lair
Where I will grow and eat my share
Of pastry rich beyond compare
With pressure needs and shapes she will
The foods I feed she has compelled
In shapely sustenance I dwell
This lace laid nest
My carousel
She leaves me bust and by the sun
I incubate quick and become
I hatch a babe
A newly grub
Who praises made in mother's love
Upon my birth
See what I found
A stair courteous feast abound
These alimentary gifts in doubt
What rudiment excess allows
And I begin to relax repeat
In fatter life is but to eat
Into the fruit but not the rind
Consumed and fattened up sublime
Till I'm in full urges I posses
Become a loose and amber flesh
Of sober beauty make me swoon
While I await the turning moon
Emerge and twill thou concentrate
While August rains precipitate
The softening bye which I elate
Burst forth a gleam to meet my fate
The joyous of life
I'll drink so sweet
Before it's time again to eat
But soon the victory wools I greet
Begin my scour of life complete
