Heathen Burial
Darkest Era
The dead lay strewn across the altars of
stone
Storm weathered bodies broken on the
hungry earth
Every fibre of my being burning with the
lust
With a nightmare reaching from hell
Voices of damnation will answer to my
sword
And the screaming void swallows me hole
To a place where trial and tribulation wait
Where friend and foe lay below the sodden
earth
And I feel the storm crashing down on me
Sever the chains that bind us here
All I ask is for strength to carry me on
By the will of the gods may it be
The dead are cast to the sea
Consumed by the venom that drives my will
The fear cast out from my bones
The ships on the shoreline burning on the
bay
The dawning of a new age has come again
