Gentle Freind, who knew my name
and with your hand you calm the storm and heal the lame
as You spoke, people came
and as a crowd were gathered round
they call out "Holy One, are you the Holy One
who were sent by God to show the way?"
I wasn't there at the cave
those who saw and feel the miracles you made
took the nail, you bore the pain
then they hang you on the cross and mocked you
"Holy One, if you're the Holy One
let your God, come save you from the grave!"
Oh and I just heard the news today
I just came to find you but they said you're gone away

That you have to go

Early morn, break of day
came in time but found you're out
You're gone away
Found your robe and empty grave
as I fell upon the ground I cried out
