I Want the Radio Up

Dana Alexandra
Woke up on your floor in Brooklyn
Opened up my eyes and took in
Light flooding through the curtains
Oh my head is hurting
Stumbled out to streets of concrete
Thought if I was quick I could be
Out of sight and out of mind
Gotta leave the night behind
I want the radio up I want the world turned down
I want my glass half full I want it all worked out
When my heart is breaking, and my mind is racing
I want the radio up I want the world turned down
I could hide alone at my place
Disappear into the subway
But that won't get me nothing
That I'm really wanting
My heart can get a bit lazy
Lines can get a bit hazy
You try to call me baby
But it's black or white not maybe
There I said it nobody wants to be the one to blame
Just forget it, I'll put my best foot forward and I'm on the run again
