In Case I Die Outside of Bellingham, WA
Joe Yoga
I miss the violence
I miss the beach
I miss my ex and I don't feel bad about it
not that it matters to anyone but me
the drunken fights the fuck the drugs
and the dreamless sea
but where would I be
without the world falling apart without me
i'm in no rush
to be calm and collected
I can't believe what I have to do
what good is free will without a clue
i guess you can tell i am sick of mud and concrete
i'm gonna head out west
so I can finally miss the east
cause where would I be
if the world couldn't collapse without me
i'm in no rush
to be protected
give me a spacious costal western state to stand in
first thing i think i'll get is how broken the land is
i will fill my mouth and heart and lungs with the ocean
pour a sip on the boardwalk for my friends
cause where would I be
if everything fell into place around me?
i'm in no rush to be contented
cause everything was beautiful
and nothing hurt
but everything was out of reach and nothing made sense
everything was beautiful and nothing hurt
again
