In my bones
Grand Salvo
well I woke up just the same as I did any other day
and though I remember dreaming none could I recall clearly
and yet I felt it in my bones
I think I dreamed about my home
as I put on your toast
I felt a twitching in my throat
and then I gave a little squeak
and suddenly began to weep
I don't know where it all came from
I think I dreamed about my home
so when I felt that I was able
I took your breakfast form the table
and though it was a small surprise
I saw a pleasure in your eyes
and then you said 'have you been crying?'
there was no denying
because I had started up once more
this time much stronger than before
I don't know where it all came from
I think I dreamed about my home
I think I dreamed about my home
