About a guy who's all alone,
Trying to make it through
Some very tough times.
Because his mother works two jobs,
And his father just ran off.
But, you don't know cause'
He's not one to complain.
Why don't we understand?

Instead of letting a good kid fade away?
At school he tries to hide
All the pain locked up inside.
He needs a friend,
but all he gets is stares.
And no one cares.

But, we just look the other way.
