Limbs of Sorrow
They Came Burning
Disgrace on a face that's pale and sick with grief
Why accept this pain, this suffering?
A love once lost is a pain now found
Something I never thought would kill me softly
It plagues me every waking day
Though shadows fall it never goes away
When my eyes open the nightmare begins
And when I close them it happens again
But I find peace in these flames
There are no fingers pointing the blame
Merciful death, love your precious guilt
Unselfish, undying, no will to live
Your fear will rest six feet under
Comfort lies in the limbs of sorrow
