Angel of mercy, I've been swept up by the wind
There's no turning back now, this is how it all begins
There's a three legged dancer on the Lionmaster's left
He will take you to freedom
In the deepest forest where the water runs cool,
He'll meet you in the shadows
Barefoot and gentle in the candlelight circle
He will leave you forever changed
Take off your fears, uncover your soul
You're lost in his garden like flower petals lost in snow
And he will tame you, but he will do you no harm
He'll make you forget, he'll take you in his arms
And you're the shaman, untie my hands
And fix my heart, throw my scars to the wind
Won't you bury my losses in the sand?
He will go back to the circus trains and canopies
To the three-legged dancer and the altar of your memory
But every so often, you will hear a voice say,
"Have no regrets, and please don't forget"
