Moon Comin' Over the Hill

I remember that lonesome night

When stars all were shining bright

I was alone, alone until

Until I saw that moon coming over the hill

Now how could I ever have the right

To see alone such a beautiful sight

You know that night falls dark and still

Except for that moon coming over the hill

Now it looks so close up next to the clouds

Well, you know it's up there, just checking me out

It just rises higher on into the night

And it lets me know everything's alright
