My Justine
Larkin Grimm
Rainbow creek is moving fast with all this acid rain
Climbing up the concrete wall to flood the street again
Cops came by last night to help me barricade my tomb
Living like an immigrant in your lead painted room
When are you coming home, Justine?
When will you wipe my conscience clean?
So serene
My lazy queen
Whipping cream
Feed me salty water laced with metal and chlorine
I froze my hands to go out searching in this piercing rain
Look to find you water off, the water turned to steam
And I got tracked and thirsty underneath a blind machine
Give me some protection from this poison I lay in
The bruises on my hands will tell you where my mind has been
I tried to hold my temper but it always ends the same
White paint is flaking white led off the dusty window frame
When are you coming home, Justine?
When will you wipe my conscience clean?
So serene
My lazy queen
Whipping cream
I found the way to hide the mirror showing you washing
I got some strange funk over me and who knows whose will bring
Out of place reflecting inner peace just like you said
Thank the golden light that hammered truth into your head
White lightning bolts into your brain
Know that you’ll never be the same
So serene
My lazy queen
My Justine
