Never Got This Timing Right

We said our weekly "hello" to each other and just kept walking by

We never seem to get this timing right

Maybe we can meet up for lunch tomorrow

Or just sit down for a cup of coffee in the morning

Oh I'm not trying to be slick or smooth here, no

I just want a friendship, more than a pass and go

We walk endlessly around on these sidewalks

Across the streets, in and out of these buildings, and

I don't know about you but I'm getting awfully tired of

walking around on the same ground

I say we pack our bags up and get so far away

Let's forget these cities, these streets and all these lights

Let's forget they existed and move on with our lives

Let's go!
