Not the Job For Me
Joe Yoga
I only write cover letters when I'm drunk
and now i got this one to send you
and i think i've had enough
I got a six of beer in the fridge i got a
half a pack of smokes
i got an evil girl in my arms and I have to know
i am at my desk head down my hands between my knees
and try to summon the eloquence I have
when I talk in my sleep
i turn my head at 5am the first hints of dawn
my fingers start to move and now it's on
i'm not saying this is not the job for me
i just got to be sure i take it personally
i remember now it all comes back to me
i either fall in love or drink myself to sleep
i want this one so bad i could cry
my professional point of view is i should empathize
i will walk in confident like i've been here before
but what's that mean since i've just now been born
i'm not saying this is not the job for me
i just got to be sure i take it personally
i remember now it all comes back to me
i either fall in love or drink myself to sleep
