On Fire

Sebadoh
My opinion could change today, but Iâ"š¬â"ž¢m responsible anyway
For second or third hand information
That complicates the complication
And I donâ"š¬â"ž¢t think before I speak
And I donâ"š¬â"ž¢t know how far my words reach
So wrong nearly every time, that Iâ"š¬â"ž¢m sorry I speak my mind
If what I said was unkind
Now it feels like Iâ"š¬â"ž¢m on fire
Itâ"š¬â"ž¢s burning the world through
But donâ"š¬â"ž¢t hold it against me, â"š¬í‹Å“cuz I know youâ"š¬â"ž¢re lying, too
Is there any need for apology? Thereâ"š¬â"ž¢s no reason to believe me
Judgments born in my jealous mind, creeping inside outside
Connections Iâ"š¬â"ž¢ve made never follow through
And sooner or later disappoint you
Or cross you twice when your back is turned, thatâ"š¬â"ž¢s how Iâ"š¬â"ž¢ve learned
That someone has got to be burned
Now it feels like Iâ"š¬â"ž¢m on fire, these words are not the truth
But donâ"š¬â"ž¢t hold it against me, â"š¬í‹Å“cuz I know youâ"š¬â"ž¢re lying, too
Feels like Iâ"š¬â"ž¢m on fire, itâ"š¬â"ž¢s burning the world through
Donâ"š¬â"ž¢t let me fall without someone to hold on to
Someone to hold to, someone to hold on to
