Woke up Ache in my head
Didn't wake up in my bed
Sleeping in a chair
I'm not even close to
Body rolled up in a ball
Lights turned off in the hall
Hound dog was crying
He's so worried about me
The Sky opened up real wide
teardrops fell from my eyes
to my surprise
I forgot I was crying
Ain't no accounting for the weather
but rainstorms make me feel better
the dark side of me
seems to like how it feels when it?s pouring
Stood up wiped at my nose
made some coffee
put on my clothes
raised the curtains, looked
at the wet, soggy window
Shuffled my feet on the floor
stopped, opened the door
Ain't no bother, wind and the water
are welcome
