Most near, most dear, most loved, and most far
How fast the past came and how close we all are
My depth has been blinded through haze of a dream
And actions are faltered or so it may seem
One can not begin to comply and defend
A man is not worth what a man can amend
Please lend me your conscience and let me explain
Though I'd have no qualm if you left in disdain

Deceiver am I at the sight of the day
