Shallow Graves Don't Hide Evidence Well
Rewinding Tomorrow
"I can't see above the shallow water,
let the sand become my grave."
I know it seems twice as hard
when I'm apart (from You).
When day turns to night,
it all becomes ice,
and I'm stuck here each and everyday.
But it won't stop me from never knowing...
I'll brake this down.
I'm impared but I can still see Your stare,
stripped of darkness and exposed in light.
That beauty has caught my site,
I won't let go.
Father tell me... I'm only halfway under, and is it all about to go? Like a pharisee I'd rise up only to kick sand at the love You've shown. Forgive me, I know not what I do.
This silence is binding.
When going under (we'll jump the ship)
in dirty water (I'll fight for air)
I'm broke and still breaking for the last time!
I find truth.
I'm impared but I can still see Your stare,
stripped of darkness and exposed in light.
That beauty has caught my site,
I won't let go.
