though we built our huts on sandy beaches
Sleeping where the water comes
Though we lost our family when the ship
Blew down into the oceans grip
We want to struggle and survive
We want to live because we know that life is beautiful
Though surreal at times, it's still worth living
No one to share these nightmares with
And in the dark you wake up all alone
With memories of that night that past
The storm that cast you overboard into the oceans cold
I'm much too young to find my way
To say the least, I'm dying
And I grow smaller each and everyday
