Some Uncertainty
She may smile, she may cry
She may turn away from me
Whatever she decides
There's some uncertainty.
She may say she will leave
She may hesitate and stay
Oh, I don't really believe
She will go away.
She is takin' up all my time
And there are things I need to attend
She is makin' up her mind
And I feel we're near the end.
She may say straightforwardly
"I don't love you any more"
It may be that definite
But I hope she's not so sure.
People come, people go
Barely catchin' what they see
Well she came and so she went
With some uncertainty.
