Stranded
Black Polaris
The sea wind blew his hair
He was standing on the beach
It was raining.
He saw wet footprints in the sand.
But debated weather to follow them.
He was lost, but knew they wouldn't care.
He'd been walking for eons, Was it out of his reach?
But he wasn't complaining.
Although it wasn't what he had planned.
He opened his hand, remembered the gem.
It was the reason he was here.
But why was he considering giving up?
Maybe it was too late to find them now.
Was it raining too hard?
He started to run, but tripped on a stone.
He was hurt, wished they would appear.
But, he was determined, he got back up.
He couldn't find them, he didn't know how.
His feet were cut and charred.
But he won't give up, he won't be on his own.
