I've heard it said to me recently,
this is the dawn of the End of History,
the pinnacle page of an ordained age
or the tiring desire of dying empire.
They said the Third Reich would rise
to stand for a thousand years recite like holy script,
their free market myth
while Adam Smith rests content.
Scholars earn their dollars
for time well spent
to discredit the notion
of noble experiments.
And in their eyes
every heart on every side,
an emerging marketplace
the new mysticism of capitalist faith.
They plan their Fourth Reich will rise
to stand for a thousand years
and my fears appear to rain down with a market force.

and sadly to say
the devils may never own me
