It was the first
Snowflake to fall
Before the storm
No one noticed
It as it fell
All by itself
It wasn't long before it
Began to melt
It felt special
All on its own
Out in the cold
But when all of
The other snowflakes
Began to fall
The little snowflake just became
Lost in the storm
And suddenly it didn't feel
Special at all
Snow kept falling
But no two snowflakes
Are ever the same
Each one is special in its
Own little way
And that first little snowflake is still
Special to me
