The Fisticuffs

The So So Glos
Like Cain and Abel all twisted,
beaten into one,
like machine gun killing,
and mary's son
I go walking into the night,
I go looking for something to fight,
I get up and down,
I get all around,
She said, make heavy eyes and turn your hands low, let your fists take
it up with the radio,
you could knock em out,
Ought to watch your mouth,
"˜Cause talking too much aint gonna get ya too far,
a bleeding hollow body and a broken jaw,
I get up and down,
I get all around
be aware of the fisticuffs
and the diamonds in your eyes,
they can shake you down to the bone
and put a bullet in your side,
and in a broken womb we were fighting,
dura cells dropping on skulls,
and in the courtroom we were smiling
the stereo fills a cell,
and the music makes us feel,
like cain and abel
all twisted beaten into one, oh no
like machine gun killing,
and mary's son.
I don't know why,
I have to grow so high,
maybe there's something there I might find.
The blood stays pouring from a crack in my head,
Called up the ambulance, the pigs came instead,
talking down, all blue and proud.
And the fists got cuffed and staggers went down, to the 51st precinct
and I bailed him out, I get up and down,
I get all around.
Beware the fisticuffs,
they can take you by surprise,
when you're all couped up in a room without a view,
it won't keep you pacified.
we used to rendezvous at the bridge view
and look at them parrots fly.
I took a walk in Bay Ridge
I'm thinking, how did we grow so high?
We got our mother and fathers' eyes.
Cain and Abel twisting on the floor,
Cain and Abel just can't get along.
