There's enough at stake,

And try to sympathize,

But we're too proud to see what we're busy denying.
There's salvation waiting on the other side,
We don't want to live, but we're afraid of dying.
Life is what you choose,
Love is what you make,
Success is based on chances that you take.
So, we're the ones to blame,
If absolution is denied,
Because we were so concerned about the other side.
