Today I found a mighty tree
So silent and alone
I scaled his arms so carefully
A king upon his throne
Repetitious voices tell you to behave
But here above the meadow
Branches you keep you safe
High above the world
I looked through a hole
You seemed so out of place
With that look on your face
It seemed so far
There's a hole in the world
And it fits in this room
Can you see it burning through
Down to the other side
Far from view
When all you know is what you've been told
It's a sad, sad world
The higher you climb
The brighter it shines
The quicker it takes a hold
