United Brethren
My people always been United Brethren, Cessnas always does as told,
My great grandfather was, my people always was United Brethren of old.
My great grandfather he built the steeple for all the people to see,
And all the people in Longmont Colorado United Brethren will be.

My people never was United Methodist, sugar beets we always grow.
When it didn't rain no more my people forsake the Lord Methodist is where they go.
My great grandfather watched all his people go he stood inside his church alone.
The Lord's mysterious ways it rained for forty days my God them sugar beets have grown.
