Ut Lux Lucis Fades
Emo Side Project
It's all barren now, it's like a wasteland.
An atomic bomb has been layed down across my heart.
And I'm left in the dark.
And if the planets align, it's a sign that maybe I should leave.
You mean nothing. You mean nothing anymore.
But I'm coming home to see that the oceans are gone,
And the sky is grey, the blue faded away.
It's a routine I've grown keen to.
It's the last time that I miss you.
It's all foreign now, you shut me out.
And I didn't forget but oh I want to forget.
About the nature of light and about everything.
And as these mountains collide and I try
To feel the regret inside as you bursts into flames.
But I feel nothing. I feel nothing anymore.
And I'm coming home to see that the oceans are gone,
And the sky is grey, the blue faded away.
It's a routine I've grown keen to.
It's the last time that I miss you.
I've never seen Earth from this far away.
And I'm sorry to say it's not as beautiful as you were;
When you were softly sleeping, slowly dreaming of me.
