Today I was minding my own business here at home
And everything was fine until they called me on the phone
I became a headline
Watch me on the news
They show me singing the blues
But I don't know why
A big ole crew arrived with lots of cameras and mikes
They told me to smile or wave or do anything I liked
So I stuck out my tongue

They got me playing the blues
On a tuned-up e guitar
And here's what I told em, I said...
They put on a long interview and asked me what I did
I told them "nothin much" but they grinned and shook their heads
I must be something big
