Yesterday's Lies
A man goes home to see his lady
But walkin' in the front door he feels a little shady
She's telling him again how she's been lonely
But no matter how he tries to comfort her
There is no reply
And the man just don't know to laugh or cry
If he though of wondering why
It might give him the truth that would ease the pain
Of yesterday's lies
She loves him she knows how he feels in a bad turn
When the pictures running through his mind
Really bring him down
He's running in the wind looking for an answer
But how's he gonna see behind the tears in his eyes
And now they're walking back in time
Where there is nothing left to find
If they thought of wondering why
