Believe And Confess
The word is near you
In your mouth and in your heart
The word of faith that
Has been proclaimed (Rom. 10:8)
The same Lord
Is Lord of all
So everyone who calls on the name
Of the Lord will be saved (Rom. 10:12-13)
If you confess
With your mouth
That Jesus is your Lord
And accept the gift of grace
And also then
Believe in your heart
God raised him from the dead
You will be saved (Rom. 10:9)
Because of your faith in Jesus (Eph. 2:8)
The kingdom of heaven
Is like workers in a field
Some work longer, others join at the last hour
But receive the same wage (Matt. 20:1-16)
I say these things
To you who believe
In the name of the
Son of God
That you may know
That you have eternal life (1 John 5:13)
If you confess
With your mouth
That Jesus is your Lord
And accept the gift of grace
And also then
Believe in your heart
God raised him from the dead
You will be saved (Rom. 10:9)
Because of your faith (Eph. 2:8)
For with the heart
One believes
And is justified (Rom. 10:10)
We are justified by faith (Rom. 3:28)
And with the mouth
One confesses Jesus as Lord
And is saved (Rom. 10:10)
