Last Night I Had a Conversation with God

Simon Joyner
The night slinks down in his chair and pulls his hat over his eyes and lights a cigarettes on the stucco white walls of the cheap apartment where I live.
And he threatens to break my both my legs if I don't forget, I know who you are. And he threatens to break both my arms unless I keep my mouth shut. Yeah, unless I can keep my mouth shut.
But last night I had a conversation with God and he said it was alright to turn you in.
