I was born with 7 hearts
Each one bigger than a dinosaur
But folded small inside me
The doctors said I could survive
They worked all night on my insides
And made my hearts beat tidy
But there was more bad news to come
'You can never fall in love', they said,
'You can't have feelings.

'We'll have to leave this sinful town' Mum said to me,
'We'll go out east and build a home down on the estuary
There won't be women all around
'And I won't let you let me let you drown
It's a long way down!'
So I grew up in a wooden hut
My mother died and I ate fish
Every night for 20 years.
Then yesterday a girl appeared
And when I saw her I could feel
My hearts all shifting gear
'I won't leave to save your life' She said
'I'm gonna take you home, I don't care if we both end up dead
I don't think we should rehearse
I won't leave you, I will kill you first!'
