Katseessani kirkas valo
matkaan lpi autiuden.
Kentt taistelun taakse jnyt
vain toistaa vaimeita kirouksiaan.
Veljeni ja viholliseni;
ei kukaan heist sano sanaakaan.
Miekan tern tunsin rinnassani,
nyt kuulen kutsun Tuonelan.
Sade huuhtoo tuhot taistelun,
vereni virtaansa vie.
Alla thtitaivaan pohjoisen
vaan en (en) pll maan...
Turhaan pelkisin saapumista
kuolemattomien keskuuteen.
Ksi kdess ikuisuuden
hyppn reunalta tyhjyyden.
