doesn't make the world great
its stealing all the animals from us
If not for the magnates
and fashion conglomerates
we might just be able to budge
From this onerous stance
that to spin and to dance

for whats more in the end,
after we spend and we spend,
is less than the sum of the whole.
Roadways for going places
don't make a perfect world
they're knocking down homes for your lot
but humans are humans
and need more than animals
a place with a roof and a cot.
and a driveway and a garage
and a pool and a yacht,
we've gotta we've just gotta have those
and the bird in the tree
